I was referred by my doctor to attend Starkman's to pick up a Peak Flow Meter at Starkman's. So I attended and bought the item and took it home. I opened it at home and realized that the package was open on the inside and there was no chart inside the box, as my doctor had told me about.
I returned the next day and showed the lady that the meter package was open and told her there was no chart. She took it to the manager and I could hear the manager complain that I could not return it as there are no returns. So I had to stand up to the lady and tell her that if they were concerned about hygiene then why should I be the one to accept an opened package? She proceeded to tell me that they would ask the company if they would take it back and only IF they would, then they would order me a new one. Then she also told me that the manager said that there was no chart included in the box. I told her that my doctor told me there would be on and she said well there isn't one.
Fast forward and the following week I get told that the new one has come in from the company. I pick up the product and LOW AND BEHOLD, the meter is sealed AND THERE IS A INSTRUCTIONAL BOOKLET WITH A CHART!!!!!
I don't feel customer service was what it could be but I will give them that they ordered the item quickly.
