I have a hard time understanding why people are giving this place such low ratings. We have been ther more times then we can count since they opened. The cupcakes are so good and the frosting doesnt leave a waxy film in your mouth like a few other places in town. We had the cookies and cream cake by the slice and it is truly heaven. The lemon bar and oreo brownies are devine. The staff is friendly and helpful and the owner/head baker is a doll. If u want to complain about the price then by a betty crocker cake mix and make your own. These items are meant for a treat so the small splurge is worth it. If you go to Buddy Vs you will pay twice as much for a simple apple turnover. As a chef I applaud the bakery crew for such a consistant product each and everytime we have gone. Its not easy to have a small business in this town but I think Wonderland Bakery will go far. Gigi's was ok but nothing to be excited about thats why they are gone. Cupcakery has a thick frosting that is too sweet and retro is good but just too far away. Keep up the good work Wonderland peeps. You guys will continue to have my husband and I as regular customers.
