I usually go to Calgary a few times a year, but my last trip was my first venture to Prince's Island Park. I quite enjoyed the park. It's nice and close to Eau Claire Market, and there's quite a few parking lots close by. Being that I went on a saturday I got to park for $2 for the whole day, which is some of the cheapest paid parking I've ever seen.
There were a good number of people walking, running and biking on the trails. Seeing as it's only March I can imagine Prince's Island looks quite lovely once the snow melts, and everything is in full bloom. I'll definitely try to make it back to Prince's Island Park in the summer.
