This is not My first stay at MVH, I've been there, 2009,2010,2011,2015,2016, so I am very well aware of the service, so have been very good, but the last few years I have noticed that the car has gone down, its like they dont care, the RN's and CNA's are just not caring, I think there is an Oath that all RN's are required to take, "I would think this would have meant something to them, but I myself dont believe they understand it. I have so many doubts about the care at this Hospital, it would a long long review. I am a 77 year old male, with Coronary Artery Disease, I was not in for this problem on my last 2 visits, I was there for on the first one very low Sodium, and then on the second visit Dehydration w/SYNCOPE, on my last stay as on the the others, I ask the CN's for something and they just ignore you, I ask once the CN was there taking my Vitals,(like they really care) I ask to please empty my urinal (I was not able to get out of bed) he just walked out of the room, prior to this I had ask the RN if she would please empty my Urinal, same thing, it just seems like they dont give a S#$^% about anyone, as for the other complaints, the one time they took blood, I had an old blood draw from before I was admitted, and it was all bruised, they just cramed they needle in the same spot, I know they could have went for any other place on the arm, so now I have a big black and blue spot. While I was laying in my bed, I looked at this Bulletin Board they have on the wall, it reads "Our Commitment to You: -Frequent Communication, -Including You in Nurse Shift Report, - Clean, Quiet Environment, Keeping You Safe, -Timely Response, -Washing Our Hands, now the last one I will say they did, as for the rest I would not give them a passing grade. So Why would they post this message if they are not going to do that? I have so many other doubts about the care they provide, I mean the care that I received, I cant remember them all, I am referring to my last few visits at Mountain Vista Hospital, I must say the level of care has been going down. When I seen the Dr for my discharge, he went over everything with me, and said what he needed to say, that was 1:45pm , all they had to do was remove the IV, and have me sign the paper work, well I was still waiting at 3:45, I called the Charge Nurse, the phone just rang and rang, I just laid the phone on the bed, finally I got disconnected, I called again then got the busy signal, my wife walked up and down the hall, but did not find a person, she came back and said I cant find anyone, so I called the Charge Nurse again, this time she did answer, came to the room, and said she had got the call, but the she had been in a Meeting, well she did remove the IV and I got my papers signed and was discharged at 4:06. I have My Cardiologist and Kidney Doctors at Mountain Vista, this is the reason for going there, "But I think I will just go to Banner Baywood for my Hospitalization from now on, I am finished with Mountain Visita, very very unhappy with this place.
