We have been clients of Progressive for well over a decade. Our rates have stayed far lower than our previous insurer, who kept raising them despite a clean record. We have used roadside assistance a few times and they have been consistently excellent.
Other insurers are sometimes ordered to refund customers due to excessive charges. Progressive to my knowledge, has never been the source of such controversy. We plan to stay with them for life. I noticed that the average rating for Progressive is only three stars. Perhaps competitors are planting bogus reviews. Perhaps customers are venting prematurely. In my experience, Progressive is as good as it gets. My car has been hit while parked a couple of times and they always were there with sound advice. Our monthly bill is about half of what we used to pay. Great service and low rates: Why go anywhere else?
