There is incorrect info in the negative review. There is no store manager named Jeff, nor has there ever been. Online promotional coupons for the shop your way program aren't always easy. Managers never deal with them, so they won't always know what's going on. If there is any issue with your points, you need to call the 1-800 number on the back of your card. When it comes to surprise points, cashiers are very limited on what they are capable to do. So when something isn't correct, they don't have any way to override it. The easiest thing to do is to call the shop your way customer service people. They have more control over your points than the kmart associates do. I worked there for a year at the service desk, so I understand the frustrations that some may have. But the people who work there are good people, and will always do their best to help you the best that they can. Some of the cashiers may be new and working their first job, so please be patient with them...they are still learning the tricks of the trade. If you ever have any issues or questions, the customer service desk associates will always have time to help you out.
