I got the Japanese hair straightening treatment, or permanent straightening, and its been over 4 months, my hair looks great. I have natural Irish hair that is very full, wavy, but overall, uncontrollably messy. Because of that, i had been straightening my hair with an iron for many years, already damaging it, so i was worried that the chemicals and the treatment might be too much for my hair to handle. But other than my ends frying a bit, (which i got trimmed off) my hair handled it well.
Overall, i would say the hair treatment is excellent, it has stayed without any trouble and i plan on getting it touched up when it grows out. However, for this salon specifically, don't expect any personality from the staff, no small talk, no communication while that are working on you. I could not help but feel awkward while the treatment was being done.
