I've been here a couple of times, and mostly because of a Groupon that I purchased the first time. I've always requested Xuan/Sun who is a very friendly stylist, but knows her style/techniques really well. I've gotten highlights (partial) done, and cuts as well, and they always turn out great. I asked her plenty of questions, from tips, styles, and recommendations, and her answers across very honest and not intended to upsell anything.
As for my Groupon experience, I was treated very courteously, and not like they expected me to be a one-time customer only. The area is very clean, spacious with lots of magazines to keep you entertained. They are very punctual, and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my stylist. It does get very busy so it's something to keep in mind when booking your appointment.
No one tries to upsell me anything which is something I really appreciate. I was more than happy to purchase a few recommended products without any pressure. Groupon was $59 (Cut, partial highlights, and style). Taxes was around $7 and I always tip around $10-ish (on the actual value of the Groupon). Great place and highly recommended!
