Ok, my husband has been in for testing after being cleared by a retina consultant and subsequently scheduled for cataract surgery. We had to cancel the cataract surgery as he had to have a one day surgery on his foot. Now Center for Sight is requiring medical clearance for cataract surgery. Both the surgeon and primary dr's have said medical clearance is not necessary and we should not have to jump through these hoops. Eva the Center for Sight counselor insisted it is there policy to have this after any surgery. I was not happy and Eva seemed to have picked up on my attitude and responded with an attitude that I could hear. She said we could come and pick up a form to take to our physician if the physician could not fax something over.....I almost went off on her....pick up a form? How about she could e-mail it to us. Not customer friendly. Regardless of whether I had attitude she should not react to my attitude with attitude as a professional. Sure hope things get better. What has happened to customer service?
