This St. Rose Post Office fits the stereotype of long lines at the post office. The employees seem decent and are never combative or angry. I'm sure they know it's a post office and lines are long, and they seem like they try and get people through as quickly as possible. It's usually what customers are needing done that takes longer than the actual service. Having said this, it's frustrating to go in and almost always there's a line, whether it's lunch time or not, holiday season or not. I'll take the DMV over the post office any day of the week, because at least there, you can usually find a place to sit. If there's a long line and only one person working (which is not as rare as one would hope), I leave. Not worth the wait when I can come back another time. Most of the post offices in the area aren't great (looking at you, too, Pebble), but this one gets 2 stars because the employees aren't too bad, and it's conveniently located by where I work.
