Was looking for a new place and the amenities are great but I'm very disappointed with the way houses are built now. Thrown together and they cut corners where they can. I went to every seller out here and asked if I could upgrade the structure of the homes for side support and the say that's how they build them. They do not rap the houses in osb or plywood anymore only the bare min code one sheet every 25ft or so. Very sad and I had some sellers tell me to my face they don't do that but after I show them pics they just say well that's how it's done these days. Very sad. I also found some other mistakes and problems with these homes like using cardboard as a fire wall to put foam on . God help you if you ever do have a fire. Some other issues like bathtub not set correctly. If you do buy a home here have a outside home inspector on your builds if you can.
