I went the Macy's at the Paradise Valley mall. I needed to do a return and shop at the Home department. I was in the area to check out the shopping experience, from the surrounding stores. I can not stress how awful my shopping experience was at this location. The associates there are disengage and useless. I had requested to see a manager and Dawn came. I want to add that I am an avid shopper at Macy's. I have tons of Receipts to prove it. Anyhow, I am having a hard time figuring out how this Dawn person made it to managerial. I am offended that she did NOTHING AND I MEAN NOTHING to assist me with my problem. I could not find my receipt and she didn't bother to check the other store to see when it was purchased. Instead I received the lowest price, which happens to be a rip off. I was returning a tiny Dyson handheld vacuum. At no point in macys history of sales had that vacuum sold for $99. And Dawn knew this! She could have done something...she could have at least looked up when and where it was purchase at another store! What a smack in the face...I've spent at least $2000 I under 6mths at Macy's. This is what happens you decide to go to another macys. I recommend shopping at Fashion Square or at the Biltmore. I'm going to contact corporate.
