The employees at the store make you feel like you are doing them a favor by shopping here. Rude and dismissive. Rarely do you see more than one person at the registers, even when there is a long line of people. Went in today at 12 noon. Eight people in line, one person working the registers, two other employees talking and laughing by the front door. When I finally got to the register to buy a $50 gift card The lady didn't know what to do. She wanted me to swipe the card like I was using it to buy something. She couldn't get the card that I chose to work, so without asking me she chooses a different card and put $50 on it. When I told her that's not the card I wanted, she made a big production about walking all around the front looking for another one all the time mumbling under her breath about me. I'm a 44-year-old man dressed in business attire her and this lady is treating me like I'm a little punk. When she finally got the card I wanted with the $50 on it she wouldn't let me buy the packet of gum I had as well. She wanted me to pay twice, once for the gift card and once for the pack of gum with a credit card. Are you kidding me? Worst experience ever at a JoAnn store. I left without buying anything. Going to the JoAnn across town now.
