An amazing but unfortunate experience. Let me explain. My sis and I drove by this place the day before. We had a sushi craving. I looked on Yelp and saw this place and their great ratings so decided on this spot for lunch. We arrive and are seated immediately. We place our orders. Luckily, everything we ordered was cold. All of a sudden, the power goes out for a few blocks. Patrons who ordered cooked foods had to leave. We ordered all raw fish so there was no issue. I felt so bad for the owner. He said food not eaten in 30 minutes will just go to waste. So he started to give us a free for all on food. We had some huge chunks of salmon. There were a few fish belly bites tossed in the mix. There was so much given I forgot if I actually received what I ordered. When it came time to pay the owner said that his registers wouldn't work. We luckily had cash and we were treated so nicely and were provided generous portions that we paid what we thought was the bill. Others got to walk out without paying. A few who walked in after the power went out were turned away. The owner despite not being in the best business situation made the most of it. We lucked out with a few extra bites (by the way, everything was delicious). The good karma will certainly go back to you, good sir.
