We had been wanting to try this place for a while since it's so close to our house. We finally gave in and went.
The atmosphere is really what you pay for. Its a retro 50's style diner with older furniture, and booths, which is pretty cool. There's a lot of glass and a lot of natural light. Its clean and the staff is friendly.
The ice cream is good, but pretty generic it seemed like. Good but nothing special.
The shaved ice was also good, but again, nothing out of this world.
The price is really why they got 4 out of 5 stars. Its pricey but I guess you are just paying for the experience more than anything else.
I would go back again though mostly for the kids and the fun of it.
