Taxis are known for being smelly. Beck gets points or being less smelly, but they do still smell. Most of the taxis stink of body odour, whatever food they ate, or cigarettes. Some of the drivers are rude, others are great. Several times where they had no idea where they were going. Even for well known locations. I was going to the Liberty Grand and even though the guy had no idea where it was, he just drove around making wrong turns. I eventually had to intervene and we finally admitted that he didn't know how to get there - he made no adjustment to the fare to make up for all of the driving around, of course. I'd had a few experiences like this. They accept credit cards without making a big fuss about it. I can't say that about all taxi companies I've dealt with. Again, basically, they're slightly less stinky than the other cabs in Toronto
