This is one of my favorite venues in the city to see a band. It is intimate. Some of the best acts in the indie scene come to this venue.
I've seen some very memorable acts here including: Breeders, Red House Painters, Stephin Merritt, Kings of Convenience (who kept complaining about the acoustics and were very disturbed by the cash registered in the back, for a good reason), Mark Eitzel (who was very peeved with the crowd, for some reason, and refused to come back for an encore), The Album Leaf and others.
When the band is done, you can go dancing upstairs at the Dance Cave.
