NY fashion week hair styles have nothing on Borealis! Coming for a trim here is a HAIRAPY session that will leave you so satisfied you'll keep coming back for more. Many salons these days are all smoke a mirrors. They distract you with shiny things in hopes that you don't notice the mediocre hair style they managed to affix atop your head. Well, Borealis breaks that trend wide open. The stylists at Borealis are extremely professional and enjoy listening to some great music while you get your trim on. My personal experience has been with stylist Noel Lance. I cannot tell you how GREAT he is with color (both men's and women's)!! I've seen him take yesterday's wannabe and turn it into tomorrow's fad.
If you decide to hang out with the guys and girls at Borealis, you will notice that the salon has some limited parking. Don't even try to park in the back (you will need a can opener to get out). Parking on the street can be very limited, so I'd suggest parking in the neighboring lot used by many businesses adjacent to the salon. The salon itself is an old house that is an interesting shade of seafoam green. The temperature in the back rooms can get a little warm in the summer, so please dress accordingly. Each stylist accepts credit cards and offer their own hand selected hair care product lines. You will easily make a friend or two with each visit. Everyone is very friendly and eager to satisfy.
