Coconut cream was probably the worst cake I've ever had especially with the $$$ price point. I was suddenly craving for cake so I decided to drop by butter baker to satisfy my craving. Unfortunately the cake was so disappointing which ultimately did not satisfy my craving at all.
This place is catered to take out as there are only 2 stand up tables. Service is prompt and welcoming.
I got a slice of the coconut creme which I thought would be coconutty and soft. Truth was the cream/frosting was so hard you gotta melt it using your mouth (similar to melting frozen butter in ur mouth) It tasted like days old cake and the cake itself was not moist but rather dry. When I tried to spoon the cake, the frosting separated from the cake which shows that the cream isn't even bound to the cake. Super disappointing!!!
My friend got the matcha cake - it was mediocre. Super sweet and nothing special. However I got to say that the matcha cake is so much better than the coconut cream.
Probably not going to come back here!
