My husband and I are visiting from out of state and we tried out this restaurant due to the awesome reviews. I had a Strawberry Pineapple Beermosa and it was tasty, sweet but not too sweet. We had wings (a mix of buffalo and cajun) and ordered them "crispy," due to a review on here suggesting to do that or the skin would be soft. We took that advice and the wings were delicious, our favorite part of the meal! The service was good as well. For the main entrees, my husband got the Southwest Fried Chicken and thought it and the Mexican corn side was okay (not great); the mashed potatoes were his favorite part of the meal (and he usually isn't a mashed potato guy). I had the San Antonio mac and cheese and, I know I'm in the minority saying this, but it wasn't great. It was lukewarm when I got it. I LOVE mac and cheese but this is more like mac and bbq sauce. There is some cheese on top, but it just doesn't taste very cheesy. The menu does say it has barbecue sauce, but to me, I guess it just sort of overpowered the dish. The breadcrumbs on top would've been better if they were crunchy in texture (cooked more), but they were soft. All in all, the wings were my favorite part of the meal. The atmosphere was okay for a bar scene. It was pretty loud if you want to have a conversation with the person you're dining with. We went on a Saturday night, so it may have been busier/louder than it is normally on a weeknight. And it was too hot out to sit in the outdoor seating. We'd try anything twice so we'd probably try other dishes and come back on a weeknight next time.
