The space is lovely, with its high ceilings and white marble motif. The hosts and barista were friendly. The latte I had while waiting for our appointment was decent, and the sparkling wine we had during the blow out was good. Those are the highlights.
We used a groupon for a blow out with a glass of sparkling wine. They're usable on any day except Saturdays, reservations required. The stylist washed my hair, but wasn't very gentle. I didn't say anything because he was so nice and I would've felt bad, but it was kind of painful. During the blow out, he kept trying to yank through the tangles in my hair. The whole thing was only about 25 minutes from start to finish (even though the site says it's supposed to be 45 minutes) and it felt like an hour. Perhaps they take their time with people not using the groupon? My friend seemed to have a perfectly pleasant time with her stylist, though.
