I scoured the internet to find a place in Calgary I can trust my dry, damaged curls with. I decided to give Get Banged a try, as I had read some great reviews. Well I am a fan and I can say I have found my hair stylist for sure! First of all the customer service is awesome. From the moment you walk in this cute old house you are welcomed. The other great thing was I was able to book my appointment via email which is important to me since I cant always get to the phone to make personal calls when I am at work.
My appointment was with Lindsey. She is a very happy, bubbly and energetic person who instantly makes you feel at ease. She respects and acknowledges the nervous feeling that comes with getting a hair cut. She spent the first few minutes talking to me about my hair and what I wanted. Then she proceeded to cut my hair dry! Which was awesome, I could see how much hair was coming off as it happened.
After the cut she gave me a great wash and condition and then styled my hair. What was nice is that she showed me how to style my hair, so I can actually get it to look good even after the salon. She recommended some products that they carry, but didnt push and make it seem like my hair wouldnt look good without those products. She was very honest and helpful.
I live in Auburn Bay, and I have no problem traveling to Inglewood for my hair. Its worth the trip!!!!
