Honest & professional practice; Up front costs; No-pressure sales.
I've been coming here for years. Got referred here by a co-worker who started coming here years before me. I now refer other co-workers here all the time (Canyon Pointe Dental Group accepts my employer's HMO dental insurance/ Liberty Dental).
Because my HMO dental insurance is a contracted fee-for-service plan, I'm always concerned about what my out-of-pocket fee will be. The front desk staff are very organized and easy going about showing me my scheduled procedures, my total out-of-pocket costs (no surprise or hidden fees), and answering my questions before I consent to any procedure. I've never felt pressured or oversold on any procedures or "recommendations."
In fact, last week I had gone in for my scheduled cleaning and my chart had called for a light therapy treatment that kills bacteria and helps the gum line. I was cool with doing it - the cost seemed reasonable. But after I got through the standard cleaning session, the dental hygienist told me that I didn't really need the light therapy since my teeth and gums are in pretty good shape.
Awesome - I love it when I get to save time and money!
Also, I appreciate that I'm never kept long in the waiting room. I'm on time for my appointments and they usually call my name a few minutes after I arrive and sign in.
Overall, I've only had good experiences with this location.
