Believe the reviews! This place is a dump and overpriced for what it is. IF you aren't able to find any other decently priced hotels, I definitely recommend bringing your own sheets and towels! And plan on spending little to zero time in the room except for sleeping. But really, don't stay here!! Stayed here this weekend for Spring Training and was looking for a decently priced hotel within close proximity to Camelback Ranch. Booked close to our travel dates and all other hotels were either booked or way over priced ($250+)My boyfriend booked the room without reading reviews of the hotel and we thought that maybe some reviews might just be exaggerated, but these awful reviews are spot on unfortunately. We called the day before our arrival to let them know we would be checking in late and upon arrival the only room they had left was a handicapped room right next to the vending machines. Door from the outside looked like it should have been a closet. Walked in and promptly checked the entire room based on previous reviews- thankfully there was no cockroaches or bed bugs as some other guests had written about, otherwise I was prepared to walk right out. As a backup plan I had brought our own sheets and comforter and so glad we did- would not have been able to sleep without them! Sheets were dingy and looked like someone had stepped all over them and were also stained with fresh lipstick stains. We removed the sheet and comforter immediately and used our own. Bathroom for sure hadn't been cleaned- used towel left on one of the handicap bars in the shower as well as empty/crushed old shampoo bottle. Toilet seat looked clean but bowl had a brown ring- definitely needed a scrubbing. Towels were tinier than even a bath mat and super cheap. Stains everywhere on the carpet and the walls. TV was not only a huge old TV but the color didn't even work!! Every channel was black and white; felt like we went back in time. Also had problems with the wifi- when we asked the staff they just told us that it's an old hotel and some rooms have a hard time getting wifi. Eventually worked, after we had to connect to the wifi down the hall outside of the room. Ice Machine was also broken and we had to go to the other building across the way to get ice. Vending machine wouldn't accept cash (and too old to have a credit card built in) so wasn't able to use either. When we booked the room, description said room would have microwave, fridge, and hair dryer- room had none of these and didn't even bother to ask based on everything else wrong with the room. Housekeeping does come around each day around 9am to which we laughed each day because not sure what they are really cleaning?! Pool looked decent but wasn't exactly warm enough to hang out by the pool.
