I buy(bought) pet food at Pet Club for my Westie. He has developed a sensitive stomach & we have to prepare food for him. I have purchased Natural Balance canned & dry food for him from this and other Pet Club stores (for many years) and have always been told "If your pet can't eat the food - return it and exchange it for something else. That is what I tried to do today only to be told I could not return it because it was more than 30 days since I made the purchase. (for convenience I usually purchase 1-2 cases of cans & 25 pounds of dry at one time). At no time was I ever told it had to be returned within 30 days. The use by date on these cans is 11-2-17.
What cost this store nothing, because I was going to exchange the returns for 40# of dry food & purchase a small cat carrier for $40, cost them the additional sale, my future business at all pet club stores & possible loss of business from everyone I tell at every opportunity. I also am going to contact Natural Balance to let them know how their stores deal with their return/exchange policy.
I will now be buying my pet needs at the farm and ranch store one block west of this Pet Club store since they carry the same products I buy for my pets.
