Hi Scott R. , the Banfield Wellness Plan is not worth it....the 15-20% that Banfield offers i s all recouped from getting charged for everything. And The next thing they will sucker you in will be upgrading your Wellness plan. Other pet hospitals offer yearly specials for dental cleaning and ours even include free grooming, picked up our dog and she smelled so good, nails all trimmed nicely. The free office visits, I can only say is really not free when you check with other pet hospitals, xrays and other exams are much lower fees than Banfield charges. If I only read all the Banfield reviews before I got one for our dog and cat, I would not be hounded by the Banfield people right now. I made a mistake of upgrading our cat's Wellness plan. Whatever medication the Banfield vet ordered from a compounding pharmacy made my cat violently throwing up all night. She eventually died and wants us to pay for 11 months remaining from the Wellness program. What a joke! As soon as sign up or upgrade, they will hold you responsible for a year from the time you sign the dotted line. So BUYERS BEWARE!!!
