Impressive selection of beers on tap and in bottles and good service, but I'm not sure I'd go back. Yeah it's probably better than the place it replaced "On the Curve" but food wasn't fantastic (I had some sort of really bland flat bread thing) and I still think that West 50 has a better selection on draught. That being said, it still is an impressive list and our server (Mona I think?) was more than knowledgeable and basically read my mind as to what I wanted (I didn't even know). It was some Belgian brew with an elephant logo (I love elephants) and she was even nice enough to bring me an extra coaster to take home as a souvenir. The atmosphere is nice enough, although a bit muddled...is it an old-timey pub or a sports bar or what? I didn't quite get it. Anyways, decent enough and I see no reason to not come back, although there are plenty of other options in the area and I'm not sure that the Bier Markt stands out enough for me to make it a semi-regular stop.
