I stopped by here a couple of Tuesday's ago with my father for lunch. On a previous visit to the Strip District we noticed a sign outside promoting the fact that they now sell bahn mi sandwiches here and that was enough to entice us in. Sadly I did not see a single one of the items that they had promoted outside on the menu itself. Whenever we arrived the restaurant was empty except for a single other table. The restaurant itself is decorated rather sparsely with a couple of pictures on one wall and some bamboo sticks on the wall opposite of it. For my lunch entree I decided to order the chicken vermicelli while my dad ordered one of the pho's. My meal ended up coming with an egg roll which I enjoyed. I really enjoyed the taste or everything in my lunch and the freshness of it made me feel like I was eating healthier than I probably was. My dad also enjoyed his pho and told me that he liked it more than the noodle soups he has had at some of the better known places. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. Although there wasn't too much to Pho Van, the food was tasty and we were in and out quickly which is sometimes what you want from a lunch.
