I did a lot of research before deciding to go with LasikPlus Vision Center. It probably would have been cheaper if I had it done at an academic center or went with a Groupon. I just didn't like the possibility of having a resident/fellow (academic centers) or random eye surgeon (Groupon) performing my eye surgery. With LasikPlus, I knew exactly what to expect. I know the actual eye surgeon who was performing my surgery as well as the type of laser that was used.
LasikPlus comes with a lifetime advantage plan that covers you for free re-treatments and 1 year of Lasik-related follow-up visits if you need it. They also offer a generous discount for public service personnel (see their website for details). Lastly, their national presence allows me to do my follow-ups visits at any LasikPlus location.
The entire staff at LasikPlus was courteous and professional. Ms. Feldbusch (center director) assisted me with the billing and appointment scheduling. Pre-OP & Post-OP assessments are done with Dr. Manly (optometrist). Dr. Rom (ophthalmologist) promptly and efficiently performed the surgery within an hour of my assigned time slot. The surgery was very brief and relatively painless. My experience at LasikPlus was great and I highly recommend them to others.
