Polished is not my normal go-to nail salon, but it was my friends birthday and this is where she usually goes so I decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, I wasn't really that impressed.
I will start with the plus though, polished gives you unlimited drinks while you are there getting your nails, toes, eyebrows, etc. done. They have beer, wine, and mimosas, and of course non-alcoholic drinks as well. Definitely makes the time spent there easier, especially when you are waiting for someone to start your nails.
So the not so great aspects. We waited a while before someone started our nails and I wasn't really sure who was doing them or when we were going to be helped. The lighting was terrible, I don't know how they didn't get nail polish all over my hands. I was seriously worried that they were going to cut my hands while doing the manicure. I felt that the manicure itself was not the best. After my nails were completely done she had to go back and file a broken nail which then chipped my nail. I noticed it and said something but it was overlooked. And to top it all off my manicure/color later about a week before it started coming off. Normally gel lasts 2 weeks if not more, so I was less than pleased.
I most likely will not be returning and will stick to my go to spot.
