Last August, I purchase a pair of glasses from LensCrafters. They were very expensive in the $500 range. Earlier this year, I ended up having cataract surgery to correct my astigmatism. Months after my surgery I no longer need the glasses but still need reading glasses. I asked my Dr for a prescription and stopped in LensCrafters with the pair of glasses I purchased in August. They quoted me a price of $160. I told them that they should be ashamed of themselves for charging that just to exchange the lenses. They said that's the price. Today, I went to Costco and took my LensCrafters glasses. The charge to exchange the lenses $62, $18 for bringing in my own lenses and $45 for the lenses. Thank you Costco!
