This was my first yelp elite event that I attended and I was a little disappointed. I was worried I was late because I hit more traffic than I expected. However once I got there and checked in, it was atleast 30 minutes till we sat down at the tables. Then after sitting it was still some time before the appetizers were brought out. All this time I was just sitting and wondering what was going to happen. I wish the chef could've had maybe a mini speaker or even if there was a printout of the appetizers and what they were because it was quite loud in there and even though I sat close, it was hard to hear. All of the appetizers were presented beautifully but lacked flavor. My favorite was the chickpea because I love chickpeas. Then Korean bbq sauce was really good also. Of the two drinks I sampled I definitely liked the pineapple one better. I felt like the sangria was a little watery, however that could just be my pallet because I prefer stronger drinks. That being said I did love the ambiance of the bar/ restaurant. It was really pretty inside and was a great view looking out the windows even with all the rain. I like their idea our using locally sourced ingredients and their presentation is awesome. I loved the decor and table presentation.
