Mr. Smith is a cool, little neighbourhood bar located in HoMa. It has a fun vibe to it and is a great place to come to if you are in the mood for a casual, relaxed night out. On the particular Friday night I found myself here they had a fire going on the back patio where you could roast s'mores and sample Coureurs des bois maple liqueur. All of this was free and was part of their vendredis fous according to our waitress. They offer up some custom cocktails as well as the traditional ones you would expect find i any bar. The beer selection is pretty good as well. Cocktails weren't too expensive hovering around the $9 mark but they were definitely watered down. They didn't seem to have much alcohol in them. In case you're hungry there is a small food menu too. I ordered a Philly cheese steak and it was pretty tasty. The portion size was spot on and the dish as a whole was well prepared. If you live in HoMa then Monsieur Smith should definitely be on your list of neighbourhood spots to check out. It is a great little bar to hit up when you're in the mood for a drink in a casual setting.
