It's a bit hit and miss, to be honest. I've had great mani pedis, and not so great ones which chipped really quickly. Some of the women are lovely-some a bit brusque.
I went in yesterday to try out shellac nails-the idea is that they don't harm your natural nail but last three weeks. I ended up with 2 different people doing it because, as became obvious half way through, the first woman didn't really know how to do them. Now my left hand looks good but my right hand is a bit messy and there's a chip already! As I was leaving, one of them (who seemed like the manager) saw my face and said they would fix it for free if there were any problems. She said shellac nails were hard to do so only some people did it and it would be better to have an appointment. I wish I'd known that before they decided to just crack on with it and practice on me!
