Stayed here because of the location. We were doing some rock climbing in Red Rock Canyon and we were looking for a hotel off the strip and on the west side of town. Honestly, our expectations weren't that high, as the website for the hotel seemed to cater to a senior citizen crowd. We had a surprisingly good experience though. We stayed on a non-smoking floor, and the room was fresh and clean. The size was pretty generous for the price, and was much larger than similarly priced hotels I've stayed at on the strip. Very pleased with the extra large bathroom with dual sinks and the toilet and tub in a separate room, so people could take care of business and still allowed the rest of us to brush our teeth and get ready for bed or whatever. I'm going to ding them one star for the limited tv options and Wi-Fi troubles. After coming home sunburnt and deciding to relax after some hard climbing we were surprised to see only local tv channels included and just a couple basic cable channels. I feel like it's pretty standard for most hotels to give you the full run of standard cable and at least HBO for free. Movies on Pay per view were $14 + tax. Way too high. Also, the Wi-Fi was very spotty. I got better reception and faster speeds off AT&T LTE than I did from hotel Wi-Fi. We were very happy with all the activities, amenities, and food options on site. We did do a little gambling and one in our group used the fitness center. We found some of the newer gaming machines (especially the Superman one) to be very fun and up to date. The sports bar was also very nice. This hotel seems to market to a low key, older clientele, based on their website but we found it to be pretty fun for just about anyone. Unless you are looking for an ultra modern, Las Vegas Strip experience, this hotel is perfectly great if you're staying in Vegas for other reasons and the hotel/gambling experience is to be only a secondary activity.
