I was pretty impressed with this monorail! Very convenient especially if your hotel is one of the stations. It goes from one end (SLS hotel) all the way to MGM Grand and stays on the east end of the strip. Trains come every 6-8 min depending on the time of day. From Westgate hotel to MGM takes only 15-20 min. One way tickets are $5. We paid for the 24 hour pass for $12. Great deal since you don't have to take cabs everywhere or deal with parking. Only con is the stations are behind the hotels. You'll have to walk to the back of the casino to get to the station. Little more walking than you're used to but I don't mind. 5 stars for their customer service. Dumb me. I left my phone on one of the trains as I was getting off to MGM. I realized right away and used one of the emergency phones at the station. Someone answered and told me to hold on as they look for it. 10 min later, a nice lady came out and found it and had me fill out a small form to release the phone to me. Super quick! Omg thank you LV monorail! You saved my life!! :)
