Had the refridgerator break down on Sunday. Worst timing possible. Called Urban Appliance on Sunday because of the great reviews on Yelp. Did not get a return call (It was a Sunday though). Called again on Monday and got a 2 pm appointment. Ilya called and informed us he was running a little behind (to be expected in this line of work). He showed up at 2:40 pm and proceeded to diagnose the problem. He was so kind and informative. He explained the solution and gave me an estimate. He then proceeded to fix our refridgeratorand explain possible causes for the need for repair. He stuck around for 15 minutes after to ensure everything was working fine. Truth be told, the price I paid for the repair didn't even really matter because of the service I received from Ilya. Good old fashion customer service stills lives on. I didn't feel like he was just after the money. He seemed to really care. Urban Appliance Repair Service has a customer for life as long as Ilya is still there.
