I chose REP Cleve even though their reviews were awful because the manager answered every question I had until I was completely satisfied with my understanding of how it works to be a "reluctant landlord". When I spoke with reps from all the other real estate mgt co's with better reviews, I felt they were just giving me "blow-off" answers and REP Cleve really explained the whole process to my satisfaction that's why I gave them my business... Now, 5 months into things, overall, experience has been to my satisfaction-- tenant pays rent, there were some leaky toilet repairs and some trouble with the maintenance guy but the girl who I deal with took care of all my concerns in a reasonable amount of time and with a terrific attitude. Yes, it takes them time to get back you and yes there were issues with repair guy, but overall I feel like they have my back and ultimately the issues that arise are resolved... for $79/month I feel like they earn their money, I ask a lot of questions and can be a real "nudge" and so far... it's working out just fine. REP CLEV helped me make the difficult decision to rent out our house when we were really stressed out so we could move out of state for my husband's new job(with 2 kids in college, yikes!),because of them I have peace of mind.
