I decided to get my tragus pierced to celebrate my 30th birthday (living on the wild side haha). I have no other piercings besides my ear lobe and no tattoos and so I wanted to be sure to be knowledgeable about where to go and what to expect. I spent a few days researching the best location in the valley for piercing and was between HTC and Halo. I choose to go with Halo because the pricing was a bit more affordable and the reviews were very positive. I went in about 45 minutes before closing and was the last client of the night. Paperwork was short. Attendant at the desk was friendly. When selecting my jewelry I asked for stainless steel jewelry ( as my Youtube research advised me) but was told they only have/use Titanium jewelry - for the ear piercings at least. She reassured me titanium is safe, stronger than stainless steel, and has no nickel. There was a good selection of beginner jewelry for the tragus.
Frank was my piercer and he was great. All materials were sanitized before hand and needle was packed and opened in front of me. Frank explained to me how to lie down, coached me with my breathing, and counted down for me. I wasn't nervous or scared at all but it did help. Afterwards, he even provided a info card with info about my specific piercing/ jewelry and gauge size etc. Anyway, I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a piercing. I love my piercing!! I have had it for 4 days so far and no problems.
