DD was a big deal when I was a kid. Their donuts were a treat, and as I grew up their coffee became an even bigger treat. (I still like it better than Charbucks, and I love that they still make it for you with cream and sugar.) Anyway I hadn't had DD in a long time and now that I'm too old to just walk in and order 3 donuts, I ordered off their breakfast menu. The lady at the counter could see I was confused, and was helpful. She even offered additional bagel options for my sandwich. I hate it when the counter person expects you know the menu, and offers no guidance, or worse acts annoyed because your not a savvy guest. Brittany was upbeat and helpful. I did have a donut before I ate my sandwich and it was as good as I remember. The service was good, the music was upbeat, the coffee was a little sweet like I drank it when I was a kid. Thanks DD for a nostalgic morning.
