I came across Ilios on my hunt to find good home-cooked Greek food in Montreal. All of the reviews were awesome, so I made plans to go. The restaurant is located on Saint-Denis (between Pins and Rachel), so it's a lovely location. The place itself is small, albeit very clean and cozy. They sell a lot of Greek products, which I absolutely loved (being Greek and all). Everything was also reasonably priced. There are around five small tables for those who choose to dine-in. I kind of got the feeling that most people get takeout though. Upon arriving, my family and I were given the warmest welcome. After figuring out what we wanted, we opted for some of my personal favourites that Giagia (grandma) makes me at home. The food was amazing. The owner was awesome, and extremely friendly. He greeted absolutely everyone with a smile, and was super accommodating. Ilios is also very vegan and vegetarian friendly, which is always a plus! All in all, the food, service, and atmosphere were awesome! If you're looking for great Greek food that's reasonably priced, this is the place for you!
