I stayed here after my cousin's wedding, which was taking place in the Arcade. I love this building because it's so beautiful. The room was beautiful and spacious, with a high ceiling. However, had I not been a guest at the wedding, I would've been furious with the noise. When I went into my room to change floors, you could hear the music blaring and all the chatter of the guests. No wonder the wedding ended promptly at 11 pm, as people would not be able to sleep. Had the hotel or wedding made that information available, I would not have spent the money on a room. I thought it would be a late night with lots of drinking. Yeah, that wasn't the case. I could've gone home. Soundproof your hotel so the wedding guests can have a good time!
I signed up for their membership loyalty program and I was supposed to get a newspaper delivered to my room. That never showed up. Kind of a bummer, I love the paper.
All in all, it was an average stay. Beautiful room, nice bathroom. I wasn't wowed for the price tag, but it wasn't a totally regrettable stay v
