After Pitt and Primanti's, we walked around Oakland and came upon Dave and Andy's. It's difficult to pass up home made ice cream. Central Pittsburgh might not be the place to expect something like this, but it works. All kinds of different flavors, and multiple cone options, but nothing tacky like crazy toppings or cheap gimmick-y names for the flavors. Good, wholesome ice cream. I recommend this place for anyone walking through Oakland and wanting some good old ice cream.
