Growing up with Macayo's has given me a love of all things which include baja sauce, and this place does it very well. Not authentic Mexican food, but great for when you're looking for something better than Berto's. Their portions are large and between their baja burrito and their patio chimi there's no going wrong. They're not exactly packed with natural flavor but their sauces are quite good. They will fall short if you're looking for spice, even Berto's has hotter red sauce but if you're looking for something like Macayo's then you'll be pleasantly surprised. They offer quick take out, or you can dine in and partake their incredible cheap margaritas. I've also heard they have a phenomenal happy hour. There's plenty of parking, and a large dining area, but it does get pretty packed for that happy hour. I love that they're open late and include chips even for take out! The laat time we dined in the owner gave my boyfriend and I two complimentary shots as well, so this place definitely gets a thumbs up in my opinion.
