I met Ryan at a bridal show and was really drawn to his photographs. They seemed candid and honest, not so staged like other wedding photographers. I also liked that he offered unique services from other wedding photographers such as creating resin art works from photos. He met with my then fiance, now husband and I, and we chose a package that suited our needs. Ryan is extremely personable and we got to get more comfortable with him while shooting our engagement shoot. The photos turned out great and we got a sample of what our wedding photos would be like.
On our wedding day, Ryan was punctual, laid back but also professional. He helped bring order to our bridal party and getting shots set up with a large group. We got a great mix of formal, casual and candid photos of the day as well as indoor and outdoor shots. At times, I didn't even know that Ryan was around because he was so unobtrusive, and I think that's what leads to great wedding photography.
I'd highly recommend Luminous Studio because the whole journey with Ryan has been great! He always returned our emails and phone calls promptly, gave us his advice and made sure we were happy with small details - like making sure we liked the guestbook cover leather before placing a final order. I feel like whenever I look back at our wedding photos, I'll remember all the wonderful moments that were captured and the joy of such a special day.
