Dr. Harris is nice enough and seems knowledgeable, but their billing practices amount to highway robbery. My dentist last week took a complete panorex X-ray ($40 including consult with the dentist) and sent me to Dr. Harris with a print out, saying, "If they need a digital copy, we will email it to them." When I got to Dr. Harris' office, they took me back for the same X-Ray, and I pointed out that I brought a copy of the X-Ray from my dentist office last week, and they said, "We have to take our own." I saw Dr. Harris for all of two minutes; he agreed with my dentist that basically nothing was wrong. The charge for this visit was $200 ($105 for the X-Ray and $95 for the consult). I complained again that the duplicate X-Ray was unnecessary, and the billing girl tried to tell me it was legal requirement! I told her if that were the case, my dentist would not have sent me over here with her X-Ray from one week ago, attempting to avoid me having to have and pay for a duplicate X-Ray.
