My main issue is with the staff at the front desk. I spoke with 2 different people multiple times about the fact that I did not want the card I was forced to put down for "incidentals" to be charged for the room because I was traveling on business and my company had used a company card to charge the room. When I checked out, they had charged my card. I brought it to the attention of the staff right then, and despite protesting was told that in fact that was just a deposit. NOPE! It was not. So now, my company is fighting me about paying me back, and their staff tells me that there is no one there in the Accounting Department today to speak to. So I have to wait until Monday. I have absolutely ZERO doubt that they will then tell me that I have to wait 7 to 10 days for a refund - when I brought the problem to their attention then and was told that "you must not understand how credit cards work." The hotel itself was nice, and the housekeeping and restaurant staffs were quite lovely. But the front desk staff left a LOT to be desired since they could not properly charge the card that they ALREADY had on file.
