Not bad for what it is - a small ski area only an hour from Vegas. Has its pros and cons, but for me the pros far outweigh the cons.
Pros:
- Location (close to LV)
- Though there aren't many runs, the intermediate and advanced runs are pretty interesting (lots of tree skiing)
- Short to zero lift lines even on a busy day (except at the bunny slope)
- Legit powder days after storms
- Beautiful scenery on a clear day
Cons:
- Parking is a complete disaster and schedule an extra 30 minutes to deal with that mess
- Runs are short and lifts are slow
- Tiny lodge with extremely limited seating and no changing areas - I usually change and eat at my car
