My boyfriend and I purchased a great couch from this store. The staff was great and very helpful. We live about 70 miles from this location, so we were told they only deliver once a month. We agreed to wait over a month and a half (we purchased in June) for delivery while agreeing to pay $100 over their normal delivery fee. We were told we would get a call the day before with a delivery window of two hours and could call if there was an issue. We both work 10 hour days more than an hour from home. I called back Macy's to ask if they could deliver a little later in the day, just by a couple hours. After being on hold for 23 minutes (your wait time will be 10 min) I get a woman that says they can't do anything about the time. I tried explaining that I don't get off work until 4:30, she interrupted saying I guess you won't ever be able to get your delivery then. I explained that I just wanted it a couple hours later so I didn't have to take more than half the day off work. Again we can't control the time. I love Macy's but now I know I just can't make big purchases from them. I will stick with the small stuff I can carry out or have delivered by FedEx.
