I loved this apple orchard. We went last fall with some friends. They had a groupon so it was very affordable. It's not too far for west siders and a good alternative to Mapleside, which is expensive and better for kids, not toddlers. Hillcrest has your standard apple picking and hot cider. The apple bags were more expensive than I had anticipated so I was a bit disappointed about that. However, I'm not as into getting a bag of apples as I am just going for the fall family fun day. We enjoyed a hayride, pumpkin picking, a maze, playground, and a mini wagon ride for kids. The maze is pretty challenging if you do complete it. Do not forget to leave without buying some donuts, they were so good that I clearly remember them and it's been a few months. It's also really beautiful and was a good time to get some nice pictures of the family.
